Week 11: Testing 2 UX Versions

This week we discussed about our MVP and created two different UX versions for our beta product in order to evaluate both and gather insight on how they stack up against each other.

The week began with a group discussion of what our MVP will look like, the features we need in order to fit the user needs, and our main goal - expose the diversity of the main reported news and raise the users' awareness of other political opinions.

Based on the discussion with Noa and Eran we decided that we will test two versions of the main feature - the feed. Those two styles mainly differ in that one of the feeds contains titles, while the other contains only icons and the user simply has to tap on them to see their title.

We discussed the main aspects of the project we want to test in both versions, and which are the most important success factors (KPIs).

Following the user testing, we made an appointment and reviewed each test in detail. We received great insights from the users regarding each version, and even some suggestions were repeated. We understand that we need to design something that is halfway between both sides since we heard the pros and cons for each side.

Next, we will change the design based on the notes we received and do more testing in order to determine how convenient and accurate it is for future users.
