Last lesson we were dealing again with the goal of our product and what value we want it to give to our users. Together with Noa and Ofir, we discussed a lot about how we can make sure our “How might we” question will be expressed in the app. We realize that we need to make sure the app’s features meet the purpose of the app. Thus, we got deep into the “stories” feature in order to get the best way to create it. We've created two version for the main page. The first one included only categories and the main feed, the second version included interactive "stories" (divided to categories) and the main feed that includes the popular news. We created two tests protocol in order to examine which one better fit to our users. We tested them on users in order to understand which one they prefer the most.

We conducted 10 users tastings, 2 versions per user. Half of the tests started with the "stories version", after we switched to the categories and for the other test - vice versa.
The most frequent feedbacks:
Most of the users were satisfied with the concept of the app and said that they would have use the app.
We noticed that most of the users preferred the more familiar news sites as their first choice to get the basic information about the topic.
Some design feedbacks were repeated in the various test, we plan to improve the app design based on their notes.
Additionally, some users suggested several new feature that haven't thought about (such as "story for you", "I'm feeling lucky") and we will think if/how to combine them in our app.
Technical Side:
Communication between client and servers sides via .JSON files.
Our technical team started building the first draft of our MVP.
