Week 5: Ideation 1

This week was started with some creativity exercise which took place in the Lab. First, we've been asked to think and collect 30 ideas in 20 minutes for a product that answers our question: "How might we expose the diversity of reported news and raise the user's awareness to other opinions?".

We've been asked to write any idea that comes up in our minds without any filters. After this brainstorming, we've started to sort each concept according to the following categories: Practical, Not Practical, and Surprising.
The next exercise is called "Copy from the Best." We had to think about five products that exist in the market these days, which aren't explicitly related to our domain. Then we had to think about the features that make each product unique and useful and how we might use those features in our future digital product.
The products that we chose: I-Robot, Air-pods, WhatsApp, Netflix, and a personal water bottle.
Those are our insights:

On Sunday we met for "business and pleasure" at Ori's house. Ori made us an amazing dinner and we had a great time together. Then we started working on our weekly homework and created a slide-show which included all our findings from the last lesson in the Lab.
Furthermore, we’ve created a scenario for the "expert/perfect assistant exercise" which made us think about a story representing a perfect entity that provides the exact way the need we are looking to provide to our persona, Nevo.
We describe a day in Nevo's routine and how our entity, Fliper, exposes Nevo to the “truth” in the reported news and helps him be more aware of journalism's biases and the different opinions.
